Last year I sent off dozens of pieces (okay, maybe it was only ten, but if felt like dozens- it's hard for me to part with some of my favorite samples) to Magnolia & Ember. When the photographer Julie contacted me, she told me about a crazy trip she was taking throughout the western US to shoot beautiful tropical, deserty, woodsy, outdoorsy wedding photos in the coolest places in America. Seriously, she hit every single spot on my top ten travel list. I'm so jealous but at least my rings got to go along for the journey. I've been wanting to visit Big Sur ever since I was a nerdy hippi high schooler reading Kerouac's namesake book... *sigh*.
I still haven't been, but I'm sure I can't imagine a more beautiful place to get married...
All of these photos were shot last summer, but they were just featured for publication on Borrowed & Blue so I'm bringing them back around for publication on my own blog now. Better late than never.
Stay tuned for the rest of my ring's adventures!
