This design is inspired by the mythological tale of Askr and Embla, the first human couple in Norse mythology. According to the story, Askr and Embla were created by the gods from two trees, an ash and an elm, and were brought to life to start the human race. Similarly, the Unity rings bring two individual lives together to form a united bond, just as Askr and Embla were united by the gods to create the human race.

This oxidized silver wedding ring is hand-oxidized to create the two-tone appearance. Over time, the oxidation will wear away from the surface of the ring and remain in the grooves of the twig only. This is a completely natural process for silver and should not be considered a defect. The wear of the oxidation depends on each individual's natural body chemistry as well as how often you wear the ring. Wearing this oxidized sterling silver ring in the shower, washing dishes, etc. will cause the oxidation to fade away faster.

beautiful craftsmanship!! beyond my expectations..the fine details of the twig in the ring were visible and textured, very beautiful and excellent work. It also arrived early. since my fiance's fingers are thin, 6.5, the ring seemed smaller and more compacted of course- the composition, details, and beauty radiated wonderfully regardless of the small size.
